Load Balancing - Ratio method doesn't work correctly

The Ratio method allows you to specify the percentage of the traffic to assign to any Interface of the Load Balancing Group.

Sometimes you might see that the firewall is using the Primary Interface in the group at 100%.

This might be caused by interfaces instability.

If the interface is not really stable, the firewall will not open new connections through it.

The root cause has to be investigated beyond the firewall since the Internet Connectivity on the interface affected could be not stable or disrupted.

If you think the link is stable, to make the affected interfaces working again, you can follow the steps below:

1. Go to Network | Failover & LB:

• Remove the affected interfaces from the Load Balancing group, click on OK and then move back the interfaces into the Load Balancing Group.
  

This will trigger the firewall to open new connections using the correct ratio percentage.
