How to report false positive samples to technical support for Email Security service?

Description

When a good email is caught as Spam/phishing/virus the sample must be downloaded from Junk box and sent to technical support for analyzing header information. This article details steps for downloading an email message from junk box.

Resolution

  1. Login to the Email security server as an Admin.
  2. Navigate to Investigate | Junk box |  Inbound or outbound 
  3. Open the message that you would like to download and scroll down to the bottom of the page
  4. Click on Download Message, this downloads a zip file
  5. Share this file with the technical support to analyze header information.

NOTE: If the email is rejected/deleted based on your Anti-spam or Anti-virus settings, change its settings to store emails in junk box for time being as deleted/rejected emails will not have header information.
