Why is my SMA status page showing the wrong number of licenses?

Description

In SMA software 8.6.0.1 - 8.6.0.5 there is a license synchronization bug.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in the 8.6.0.7 firmware:

1. make a backup in the firmware you are running
2. export a copy of the settings
3. load 8.6.0.7 as the new firmware
4. boot to factory in 8.6.0.7 | click on the boot button (the pop up has an option for boot to factory)
5. import the settings and navigate to System | Licenses, click the activate upgrade or renew licenses link, and login to mysonicwall.com
6. Click on the 'SYNCHRONIZE' button on the licenses page. On update success indication confirm the status page and the license page show the same correct number of users allowed
