TLSV1.0 and SSLV3 Support in 6.2.6.0 Firmware

Description

This article explains the changes in SonicOS 6.2.6.0 firmware with regard to SSLV3 and TLS V1.0 Support.

Resolution

In 6.2.6.0, the options to disable SSLV3 and TLS1.0 can no longer be found in the diag.html page. These protocols are no longer supported and are disabled by default.

However, in situations where it is required to support SSLV3 or TLSV1.0 (in cases where legacy devices are used), the Enable TLS Compatible Mode can be used as it allows the firewall to support legacy protocols.

Note: Enabling this feature will generate errors when conducting PCI Audits.
