This article includes information about SMA100 firmware release 10.2.2.4-94sv.
SMA100 series reached end-of-support (EOS) on November 1, 2025. Due to security risks associated with continued use, SonicWall strongly recommends that all customers discontinue use of SMA100 products and migrate to a supported alternative as soon as possible.
Recent upgrades to SonicWall License Manager may affect connectivity between License Manager and SMA100 appliances. Without intervention, this could cause licenses, including perpetual user licenses, on SMA100 to expire unexpectedly, which may interrupt VPN user connectivity.Â
We recognize while SMA100 has reached EOS, some customers may still be working through migrations to alternative products. Therefore, to ensure minimal disruption during this period, we've released a firmware patch (10.2.2.4-94sv) which can be used to maintain or restore compatibility with License Manager.Â
Customers should download and install this update from MySonicWall.com if they experience license expiration on their SMA100 appliances or wish to prevent it proactively. Availability of this patch will be made in MySonicWall for SMA500v, SMA210 and SMA410 appliances, regardless of support entitlement.
Outside of this isolated firmware patch, SonicWall is not providing technical support, firmware updates, or hardware replacement (RMA) for SMA100 products. Customers are encouraged to complete their migration to a supported solution at the earliest opportunity.Â
