Description

MacOS X NetExtender stops passing traffic while connected.

Resolution

 

If installing the latest firmware and NetExtender update doesn't resolve the issue, follow the steps below on your MacOS X workstation:

  1. From the Dock, click System Preferences, go to Network.

  2. Choose your network connection from the sidebar on the left. Click Advanced, then go to the Ethernet tab.

  3. Change the Configure option to Manually. Set the MTU option to Custom, then enter 1492 in the text box. Click OK. Note: An alternate MTU value to use is 1404.

Notes: Operating System used is Apple MacOS X 10.5 (Leopard).
