How to disable Spam Filtering in G Suite

Description

When using G Suite with Hosted Email Security, it is not necessary to use G Suite's Spam Filtering. Follow these steps to disable Spam Filtering in G Suite.

Resolution

1. Log into the G Suite admin portal and navigate to the Advanced Settings page.

2. Scroll down to the Spam settings section, hover over the Inbound gateway setting and click Configure or Edit.

3. Check the box in Section 2 for Message Tagging.

4. Enter a regular expression (Regexp), check the box to Disable Gmail spam evaluation from this gateway, and click Save.

NOTE: The Regexp should be a value that would not be found in an email header and is required in order to Disable spam evaluation.

Spam Filtering is now disabled on the Inbound Gateway.
