How to configure port mirror in sonciwall standalone switches

This article helps you in setting up port mirror in SonicWall switches.

NOTE: Make sure the switch firmware is upgraded to the latest available version

The following steps are to be taken to add a port mirror SonicWall switch :

•  Login to the switch and Navigate to Switching  >> Port Mirror
  
  
  
  
• Click On Edit
  
  
  
  
• Destination Port: Connect a PC with Wireshark installed, run the Wireshark which will collect the mirror packets from Source TX and RX port
• Source TX and RX Port: Here we will connect the device which will generate the traffic which needs to be mirrored, example Phone, Server, PC etc.
