How can I setup SonicWall appliance using Sonic Express?

To set up the SonicWall appliance using SonicExpress,  please connect your SonicWall device to your mobile device using an USB cable.

1. Launch the SonicExpress app on your mobile device.
2. When prompted, login using your MySonicWall username and password.
   TIP: If you do not already have a MySonicWall account, please refer:How do I create a MySonicWall.com account?
3. Select tenant
4. Connect your mobile device to the SonicWall appliance
   TIP: If you want to enter the setup guide flow, please make sure the firewall is boot from factory default
5. A prompt will be displayed when the device is detected.
   
6. Click Yes.
7. Enter the default administrator Username and Password associated with the appliance.
   NOTE: The default username is admin and the default password is passoword.
   
8. A window is pop-up to change the password for admin
   
9. Enter the old password and new password to change the password
10. Click Change Password.
11. Setup Guide prompt will be given
    
12. Click Setup Guide to continue. SonicExpress will verify that the SonicWall appliance is properly registerd, synchronize the product code and synchronize the license.
    
    
13. Click Continue Setup Guide.
14. Enter the IP and  network addresses to be assigned to the appliance (WAN and LAN). Click Next.
    
15. Review the settings you have entered.
     
16. Click Confirm.
