Create a new VLAN on Sonicwall Switch managed by WCM.

Description

Separate subnets and VLANs (Virtual Local Area Networks) is essential for optimizing and securing our network infrastructure.

In this example we will create a new Virtual LAN, called VLAN 210, containing the 192.168.210.0/24 subnet.

Environment used on this example:

Sonicwall Firewall GEN7

Sonicwall Switch managed by WCM (Wireless Cloud Manager)

On Laptop

  • End device should get an IP automatically on the Subnet in vlan 210, via DHCP.
  • Verify by Pinging the IP of the X0:V210 interface.
