Connection Failure: "Connection to the licensing server not allowed" error message

While trying to register the SonicWall by clicking on Register in the status page, you receive the error below.

• There isn't an Access Rule blocking the traffic to the licensing server
• The Check Network Settings test from the System | Diagnostics page returns an error for contacting the licensing server

Go to the diag page of the Appliance following https://ApplianceIPaddress/diag.html and uncheck the feature Prevent communication with SonicWall Backend servers
