SonicWall Boosts Latin America Sales Team with New Vice President

SonicWall’s focus on the bolstering channel leadership is yet another sign that it is one of the unquestioned leaders in the cybersecurity space

MEXICO CITY — May 30, 2023 — SonicWall is expanding its regional executive lineup and security expertise with the appointment of Vice President of Latin America (LATAM) Sales, Oscar Chavez-Arrieta.

Chavez-Arrieta comes to SonicWall with more than two decades of cybersecurity experience, with his most recent position being VP of Latin America Sales at Sophos. Chavez-Arrieta previously led the partner sales transformation for Symantec in Latin America, and also held multiple management roles within Dell Latin America where he launched the organization’s first alliances program with companies such as Intel, Oracle and Microsoft among others. In these positions, Chavez-Arrieta created unique ways to engage the solutions opportunity in Latin America – always with the channel in mind, and adding true value to customers and the local and regional distribution ecosystem.

Chavez-Arrieta is a passionate and a widely recognized market leader – having been recognized by CRN on its annual Channel Chiefs list three years running. He holds a degree in economy from Kempten FHS in Germany, and a master's degree in marketing and commercial management from the IPE of Spain.
