Wayson Vannatta

Wayson Vannatta is the Chief Information Officer at SonicWall, where he leads the company’s internal technology modernization, security transformation and business process optimization. His leadership is driving the adoption of zero trust security and modernizing business applications and data solutions across SonicWall’s global operations.

Under Wayson’s leadership, SonicWall is streamlining business systems, unifying operational processes and implementing advanced AI and automation to improve efficiency. His work has also strengthened SonicWall’s internal security posture, supporting the company’s zero trust strategy and compliance with key industry certifications.

Wayson actively collaborates with SonicWall’s partner community, sharing his IT and security expertise to support partner product planning, deployment and operational success. His leadership continues to drive improvements across SonicWall’s technology landscape and partner engagement.

Prior to SonicWall, Wayson served as CIO at Nintex and WatchGuard and held technical senior leadership roles at InfoSpace and AT&T Wireless. Wayson started his technical career in the U.S. Air Force. He holds a master’s degree from Columbia College and a bachelor's degree in computer science from Saint Martin's University.
