Protocol Monitor Data in IPFIX

Protocol Monitor tracks traffic rates at the protocol level, enabling detailed network visibility. The supported protocol categories are as follows:

• IPv4 and IPv6 traffic
• TCP and UDP sessions
• ARP, ICMP, and IGMP

Key capabilities:

• Ingress and egress traffic rate visibility
• Protocol-specific traffic analysis for troubleshooting and optimization

Export mechanism:

• IPFIX Template ID 286
