This release includes significant user interface changes and many new features that are different from the SonicOS 6.5 and earlier firmware. The below resolution is for customers using SonicOS 7.X firmware.

  1. In order to manage the Access Points by WNM, you can create a WLAN zone or use default WLAN zone with the security type Wireless.
  2. Please check the option "Disable SonicPoint/SonicWave management" under OBJECT | Match Objects | Zones | WLAN | Wireless needs to be Enabled.
  3. Please check the option "Only allow traffic generated by a SonicPoint/SonicWave" under OBJECT | Match Objects | Zones | WLAN | Wireless needs to be Disabled.
NOTE: If sonicwave is not connected to firewall directly using a POE injector or if Sonicwave is connected to any POE switch then "Only allow traffic generated by a SonicPoint/SonicWave" needs to be Disabled.
