How to find which client users are connected to which access points on WNM.

Description

If you're managing multiple access points on your wireless network manager (WNM) if your client's users are getting poor WIFI connection. Kindly check to which SonicWave the client user is connected since all the SonicWave is broadcasting the same SSID. It will be easier to monitor/troubleshoot the poor connection for specific users.

Resolution

Log into the https://cloud.sonicwall.com using your Mysonicwall credentials and select the right Tenant on the top

  1. Click on wireless Network Manager (WNM) under Products
  2. Navigate to Devices|Clients
  3. Search for the client IP address when he connects to the wireless SSID.
  4. Select the drop-down option under status and select the Client Journey tab to view the sonicwave serial number/MAC address your connected.
