Deprecating Secondary Email Addresses in NSM
Previously, NSM SaaS and on-prem supported secondary email addresses along with primary email addresses to login to NSM. Users had an option to configure a secondary email as a backup of primary.

However, secondary email addresses are no longer supported in mysonicwall.com (MSW) to login. Since authentication for NSM SaaS is done through MSW, we are deprecating the secondary email address login to NSM as well with NSM 2.4 release to avoid login failures. All the secondary email addresses on NSM Tenant users will be removed. No action needed from the user end.
NSM users are advised to use their primary email address to login to NSM. If they need to use the secondary email for NSM login, they have to go to mysonicwall.com and add the secondary email address as primary through Update Email option. Â

NSM on-prem will also not support secondary email addresses for login to align with NSM SaaS.
