Configuring SonicPoint-N Dynamic Frequency Selection channel Support on 5GHz Radio

Description

Configuring SonicPoint-N Dynamic Frequency Selection channel Support on 5GHz Radio (SonicOS 5.9 and above).

SonicPoint-N DFS Support: SonicPoint-N devices support the 5GHz channels for the 802.11n and 802.11a standards. According to an FCC requirement, systems operating in the 5GHz frequency are required to support Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) before the product can be certified. This FCC requirement is meant to prevent interference with radar system which also operate in the 5GHz frequency. When using AutoChannel, and a radar system is detected, the SonicPoint-N will immediately switch to a new, channel which is not interfered.
