More About This Event

Manufacturing does not think of itself as a cybersecurity target the way healthcare or financial services does, but the data says otherwise. In the first half of 2026, manufacturing recorded the third-highest attack intensity of any tracked industry, the highest exposure to attacks against operational technology, and nearly 30 million ransomware hits. Attack volume declined sharply during that period, but the decline reflects attackers becoming more selective, not less interested, and the connected device footprint keeps expanding regardless. This webinar examines why manufacturing has become a deliberate target: the convergence of IT and OT networks that were never designed to be connected, the IP cameras and industrial sensors that create an ever-growing attack surface, and the concurrent ransomware families exploiting an industry that cannot afford downtime. It also covers what practical security looks like for organizations managing both corporate systems and factory floor connectivity without a dedicated OT security team.
