How to transfer Capture Client from one tenant to another

Description

You must contact Customer Service to request a capture client serial number transfer from one tenant to another 

Resolution

NOTE: The customer needs to uninstall and reinstall the endpoints 


The capture client serial number cannot be transferred from one tenant to another; however, we can replace the last activated key on the capture client serial number with the new key and activate the newly generated key to the tenant this will generate a new capture client serial number 


Below are the required details to complete the transfer of the capture client serial number from one tenant to another 

  •         The capture client serial number or the latest capture client key that was activated
  •         The tenant’s name on the MySonicWall portal where the capture client needs to be moved
  •         If the capture client move is between different MySonicWall accounts the MySonicWall  account email address
