How to retain the MAC address of the Global VPN Client (GVC) virtual adapter while uninstalling the GVC software

Retaining GVC adapter MAC address is required to reserve DHCP static IP address for GVC user on the firewall

If the static IP is given for the GVC virtual adapter, the following steps will ensure the static IP is retained while uninstalling the GVC software.

1. Uninstall the GVC from the Windows Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs from remote PC/Laptop.
2. End of the uninstallation process, make sure "Retain the MAC address of the virtual adapter" is enabled.
3. Click continue to complete the uninstallation.
