How to obtain a trial license for SMA virtual appliance 8200v

After install the virtual appliance and complete the basic configuration using Setup Wizard in AMC, you need license the appliance and register it. Your SMA 8200v license file can be downloaded from MySonicWall. The license file provides the serial number and the authentication code for your SMA 8200v, which you need in order to register it on MySonicWall.

To obtain the license file for your appliance, follow the steps below:

Step 1, Login https://www.mysonicwall.com/ with your mysonicwall account, navigate to My Products -> Free Trial Software, under E-Class SRA/SMA Virtual Appliance section, click Try Now button.

Step 2, Click the "key" button next to Add licenses manually to your product. 

Step 3, Click on Click here for the License File to download the license file.

 

To import the license file to your SMA 8200v, follow the steps below:

Step 4, Login your virtual appliance with https://<your<your< a="">IP>:8443/, Username is admin and the password is which you created with Setup Wizard.

Step 5, Navigate to System Configuration -> General Settings, click Import License button.

Step 6, Click on Pending Changes to apply the changes.
