How to capture GVC adapter with WireShark

This article describes how to capture packets sent via GVC using WireShark on a Microsoft Windows machine.

Step 1: Go to Start, right click Computer and select Manage.

Step 2: Select Device Manager.

Step 3: Select View | Show Hidden Devices.

Step 4: Click on the small arrow next to Non-Plug and Play Drivers.

Step 5: Right click on NetGroup Packet Filter Driver and select Properties.

Step 6: Change the Startup settings to System on the Driver tab.

Step 7: Reboot your PC and relaunch GVC.

After GVC has started you should see the GVC adapter in WireShark.
