Active Directory / LDAP Authentication - Restricting groups of users that can connect to GMS

Description

Active Directory / LDAP Authentication - Restricting groups of users that can connect to GMS

Resolution

This procedure assume you already have a LDAP server configured for authentication. Please see Admin Guide for more information on How to configure Active Directory or LDAP configuration.
You must use LDAP authentication rather than Active Directory

1. Go to Console | Management | Domains .
2. Click on the pen sign to configure the authentication server you wish to modify.
3. Go to Schema tab, tick "Allow Only AD Group Members".
4. Put names of the LDAP groups, separated with semi colon.

Image NOTE: As it is currently not possible to import users from LDAP or Active Directory, every user should connect once to the GMS so that the administrator can then setup permissions for them.
