Attorney Elizabeth Row eliminated network vulnerabilities by deploying SonicWall TZ Series firewalls, Global Management System, DPI-SSL and the Advanced Gateway Security Suite, with Capture ATP.
In June 2017, Row abruptly discovered she was locked out of her critical customer and case files. A victim of yet another ransomware attack, she decided to fight back.
“If I was going to continue doing business, I had to question how I was securing the office,” she said.
Row contacted multiple IT solution providers to recommend a smart, cost-effective security strategy that would protect her business against both known and unknown cyber threats. Row selected SonicWall.
“With their track record last year of blocking millions of ransomware attacks, and trillions of intrusions into systems like mine, I knew I found the right solution,” she said.
Row worked with a local SonicWall partner to customize a solution. She deployed the SonicWall TZ 400 next-generation firewall (NGFW). Advanced unified threat management (UTM), plus optional 802.11ac Wi-Fi, ensures Row’s network and data are protected from the latest threats over wired and wireless connections. SonicWall’s DPI-SSL service inspects and detects attacks in encrypted traffic.
She further enhanced her firewall security with the SonicWall Advanced Gateway Security Suite, which includes intrusion prevention, gateway anti-virus, content filtering, application control and dedicated customer support.
To prevent future ransomware attacks, Row added SonicWall Capture Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), a cloud-based, multi-engine sandbox that stops both known and unknown cyber-attacks in real time. In addition, Row paired her NGFW with SonicWall’s Global Management System for real-time reporting.
