Version 4.9.0 of the SonicWall Access Points and Switches Management includes the below new features
In Access Points and Switches Management 4.9.0, you can now enable or disable Power over Ethernet (PoE) at the individual interface level in Port-Policy mode, similar to the functionality already available in Classic mode. This allows you to reboot PoE powered devices on specific ports without affecting other ports assigned to the same port policy.
For more information refer to Switch Port Policies and Switch Policies.
The Dashboard in Access Points and Switches Management 4.9.0 includes several usability and visual enhancements:
A Show All Access Points link is now available in the Access Points tab for quick navigation to the full device listing.
A Show All Switches link is now available in the Switch tab.
Charts across all dashboard tabs including Access Points, Clients, SSIDs, Zones, Fingerprints, and Switches have been improved with better alignment of legends, time-series data, and data transfer charts.
Legend colors and bar chart colors are now consistent across the SSIDs, Zones, and Fingerprints tabs.
Bar chart labels now display the complete names of SSIDs and other items.
Switch port PoE colors are now aligned with the corresponding bar chart colors.
For more information refer to Dashboard.
In Access Points and Switches Management 4.9.0, the firmware upgrade workflow initiated from the device listing page has been enhanced. When selecting devices for a firmware upgrade, only the firmware versions available for the selected device models are now displayed, rather than listing all supported models. This simplifies the upgrade process by showing only relevant information.
For more information refer to Upgrade Access Points.
Access Points and Switches Management 4.9.0 introduces enhanced filtering capabilities across all applicable pages:
A Save Filter option is now available on all applicable pages, allowing you to save and reuse custom filter configurations.
Multiple filters can be saved, and you can choose to apply any saved filter.
