MFA for Cylance Tenants

Step 1 - Configure Tenant Policy for Administration Console

• Navigate to the Settings > Authentication page in your Cylance tenant.
  • Select Default Authentication near the top of the page
  • Click on the Administration Console policy.

• Add the One-time password authenticator to the Administration Console policy.
• To add an authenticator
  • Click the green ADD AUTHENTICATOR button

• Select One-time password from the drop-down list and click the blue ADD button.

• Make sure the order is set with Console Password at the top of the list.
• Click the blue SAVE button to save your Administration Console policy

Step 2 - Login to Cylance Tenant to setup OTP App

• Log out of your Cylance tenant.
• When you go to login again, enter your email address for your normal login.

NOTE: Make sure you are not blocking pop-ups.

• Enter your normal login password in the pop-up window.

• Follow the instructions in the pop-up window to setup your OTP/2FA app of choice.

How to Reset MFA for a Specific Login Account

If you need to reset the MFA enrollment for a user. Because they no longer have access to their MFA Authenticator application.

• Log into the Cylance Tenant as an Administrator
• Navigate to the ASSETS > Users tab
• Click on the user that you need to reset MFA for

• In the Upper-Right of the screen select the dropdown box that says Actions
• Then select the option for Remove TOTP enrollment

• The next time that user logs in to the Cylance tenant, they will be prompted to enroll into MFA like new
