How to Run NetExtender on StartUp to be used for Logging in over an NX Connection?

Resolution

Question:

How to Run NetExtender as a Windows Service?

Many of our customers have requested to know how to launch Netextender before Windows Login. They want Nx to be available as dial-up option on CTRL+ALT+DEL so that they can use the domain credential to connect to the PC as well as to the SSL VPN portal.

Net Extender does run as a service and users have the ability to connect before Windows Logon but with NO UI interaction. To configure this, please follow the given steps:
1. Right click on NetExtender client Icon in the system tray and select "Preferences" option from the menu.
2. Choose the "Settings" tab.
3. Select the option “Automatically connect with Connection Profile” given under “When I start up my computer:” option. Choose the desired Connection Profile.

NOTE: Please make sure that the user has a pre-configured Connection Profile with username and password saved. This can be enabled on the appliance under NetExtender | Client Settings option.

Caveat:
This  feature only works if the Windows computer is already part of a Windows Domain.
The network login option will not appear if this is not the case.
