How to route Outbound Email from Exchange to HES ( Hosted Email Security)

Description

To configure mail routing from the on premise exchange server to Hosted Email security server, Start off on the exchange server configuration and create a send connector to point all outbound mailflow from Exchange to deliver straight to HES.

Open Exchange Management Console
Click on the + next to Organization Configuration
Select Hub Transport and
select the Send Connectors tab:

ImageFor North American customers please use: domain.com.outbound.snwlhosted.com
For European customers please use: domain.com.outbound.snwlhostedeu.com
Our new connector example will use the North America domain:

Image NOTE: Please only add the mail server public IP and do not add ISP IP or any other IP address here.

 

Click Apply Changes to save the settings.
Sonicwall is now ready to accept Outbound traffic from your on premise exchange server.
