Feature/Application:
SonicWall firewalls request URL rating information from backend WebCFS server to support the WEB content filtering security service. If the WebCFS server is temporarily down for some reason, the users behind SonicWall firewalls will suffer from performance downgrade of web navigation and WebCFS functionality failure. With SonicOS, the administrator would be able to configure the firewall to enable WebCFS server failover. With this function, SonicWall firewalls will contact the server in other continent if they know the server in their continent is down. After the failed server is recovered, SonicWall firewalls can automatically switch back to this server in their continent. The administrator need not worry about where is the server in other continent. SonicWall firewall will get this information from SonicWall license manager.
