The SonicWALL TZ, Network Security Appliance (NSA) and E-Class NSA Series firewalls can also function as a secure wireless switch and controller that automatically detects and configures SonicPoint-Ni, SonicPoint-Ne Dual-Band and SonicPoint wireless access point devices. As SonicWALL wireless access points are added to the network, they are also simultaneously enforcing security policies and providing deep packet inspection scanning for all wired and wireless traffic. In order to ensure a high quality of wireless availability for all users on the network, SonicPoints can be configured to allocate bandwidth intelligently to all wireless users on the network and make sure that no single wireless client can consume all the available bandwidth.
