NSAs feature built-in routing services provide full support for OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) and RIP (Router Information Protocol) dynamic routing protocols to ensure network route availability and easy integration within existing routing infrastructures.
Load balancing.
Providing both inbound and outbound load balancing features, NSAs allow enterprise administrators the flexibility to configure multiple WAN interfaces to provide ISP redundancy, while inbound NAT load balancing provides flexible redundancy for customer-facing mission-critical applications.
802.1Q VLAN.
NSAs offer support for 802.1q Virtual LANs, using virtual interfaces with VLAN ID tag assignments. Virtual interfaces provide the same features as physical ones, including zone assignment, DHCP Server, and NAT and Access Rule controls. Utilizing VLAN support to segment VPN users further ensures the security of your network.
Bandwidth management.
