“THIS THING ROCKS! The pair of 4060's and the SSL VPN box we set up for our customer are all operational. The SSL VPN box has been running for over two weeks now and the customer has not received a single issue or complaint from his users. Compare this to his experience with his older (now retired) IPSec VPN deployment when he was having multiple issues each day. Remote access via the SSL VPN appliance works from everywhere! Internally, externally, it just plain works. When you combine the SSL VPN box with a SonicWALL PRO appliance running SonicOS Enhanced you can even secure your wireless connection with a secondary layer (WEP + SSL). I was able to use the Enhanced OS to allow the SSL NetExtender to always connect to the Public IP (even from the internal network) and this allows the customer to connect at bootup and keep his people connected to the network from anywhere without even ever thinking about it. I had an epiphany where I created a NAT Loop-back from the internal subnet to the external IP of the SSL VPN box.”
