Solutions for Business Needs Secure Remote Access
Extend your network, safely and securely.
Increasingly, corporations are building their communications fabric over the public Internet for cost savings, flexibility and performance. With VPN technologies, organizations now can transmit data securely to its destination without the risk of it being corrupted or hijacked. The broad range of Dell SonicWALL VPN-based network security solutions facilitates both telecommuting and mobile computing. Whether you are a telecommuter seeking a secure alternative to the "untrusted" home network or a road warrior connecting from a hotel room, Dell SonicWALL has a solution designed to meet your specific business needs.
Mobile computing: Dell SonicWALL Secure Remote Access.
Mobile computing today has become an integral part of the corporate network, which has rapidly spilled over its physical boundaries to encompass teleworkers, road warriors and even connections to partners and clients. With mobile computing having become such a major part of networking, establishing secure remote access has become a high priority. Dell SonicWALL Secure Remote Access (SRA) appliances extend secure remote networking over SSL VPN to potentially thousands of locations, to provide anytime, anywhere access.
End Point Control.
Available in conjunction with Dell SonicWALL SRA for SMB and Aventail® E-Class SRA appliances, Dell SonicWALL End Point Control (EPC) allows employees to connect both IT-managed and personal devices to the corporate network while ensuring that these endpoint devices don’t become conduits for harmful malware. EPC uniquely identifies and verifies the integrity of remote endpoint devices and checks for essential components such as anti-virus, anti-spyware and personal firewall software before admitting the devices into the network.
Because the Dell SonicWALL SRA technology is clientless, it is easily deployable. There is no need for IT staff to install hardware or software physically on each end node. Users can make connections on the fly from any machine with an Internet connection and Web browser. The stateless connection no longer exists after the session ends. The encrypted SSL VPN tunnel protects the transmitted data. In addition, as an added layer of protection, granular access controls allow the administrator to delegate access privileges to different individuals or groups, so that they can access only specific, defined resources.
The Dell SonicWALL SRA appliance integrates seamlessly with virtually any firewall. However, when it integrates with Dell SonicWALL E-Class Network Security Appliance (NSA), NSA, and TZ firewall appliances, you get the added advantage of integrated Next-Generation Firewall and content protection. Dell SonicWALL SRA appliances feature Unified Policy, which displays granular bookmarks and policies in one centralized page, thus streamlining configuration, troubleshooting and administrative overhead. Dell SonicWALL NetExtender offers access to services such as email through native clients residing on each remote user's laptop; access to both commercial and in-house developed applications; and greater flexible network access levels. In addition, the Dell SonicWALL SRA Series offers affordable, stackable licenses of 10, 25 and 100 concurrent users to flexibly scale as needed.
End users are able to launch a personalized Web portal, which displays the resources that are available to that individual user based on corporate policy and access level. At the administrator level, an easy-to-use GUI provides a simple way to configure, monitor, and update user policies and configuration through the intuitive Global Management System (GMS). Dell SonicWALL Secure Virtual Assist/Secure Virtual Access enables technicians to provide remote support to customer laptops or PCs, or easily obtain access to unattended Windows-based computers for increased productivity.
