Secure Wireless Administrator Training
This 2-day, in-depth, technical, lab-intensive class instructs students how to design, deploy, configure and maintain SonicWALL distributed wireless equipment to:
- Provide user mobility and maintain secure wireless communication
- Provide controlled guest access
- Provide hotspot capabilities
The class focuses on the installation and configuration of SonicWALL distributed wireless equipment and on the entire system setup. This includes configuring VLAN switches, RADIUS servers, as well as wireless clients, for a complete solution. Students set up several Virtual APs, or. multiple SSIDs, where wireless traffic handled by the same set of SonicPoints can be segmented and unique wireless securities applied. Training covers the complete setup of WPA2-EAP-PEAP-MS-CHAP-V2 using Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft IAS servers. The course also includes the implementation of external guest authentication using SonicWALL Lightweight Hotspot Messaging (LHM). Finally, the class covers enhanced management with the Global Management System (GMS), troubleshooting, wireless design, and RF site surveys.
