SonicWALL Global Management System (GMS)
GMS is the product of choice for enterprises who would like to manage, monitor and report on from 10 to thousands of appliances and/or services across a LAN or WAN using GMS on one or more general-purpose servers.
SonicWALL Universal Management Appliance (UMA)
The UMA is for those enterprises who would like to manage, monitor and report on from 10 to thousands of SonicWALL appliances and/or services using one or more dedicated SonicWALL UMA appliances across a LAN or WAN. The SonicWALL UMA provides lower total cost of ownership, higher performance, improved security, and lower complexity when compared to the deployment of GMS on a general-purpose Windows system.
