CENTRAL-SITE GATEWAY
The E-Class NSA series provides a high-speed scalable platform to meet the requirements for enterprise deployments as a network central-site gateway. The NSA series provides configurable high availability features such as WAN load balancing, ISP failover, stateful high availability, network segmentation, VLANs and security zones. Combining multi-core processor technology and a re-assembly free deep packet inspection engine, the NSA Series appliances are engineered to provide high-speed intrusion prevention, anti-virus, anti-spyware and appliance firewall, with application-level control. NSA appliances provide an easy-to-use management interface decreasing the time network administrators spend on initial deployment and ongoing maintenance.
DISTRIBUTED NETWORKS
The NSA Series offers the reliability and flexibility needed to meet the complex needs of today’s distributed enterprise deployment, with advanced network features, high-performance threat detection/protection, and high-speed IPSec VPN functionality. SonicWALL Clean VPN™ technology helps administrators prevent attacks that target VPNs, while providing employees with remote access to resources. The SonicWALL® Global Management System (GMS) simplifies distributed network administration by streamlining policy enforcement and delivery to central, branch and remote site locations.
CAMPUS ENVIRONMENTS
In campus environments, NSAs provide administrators with total control over zone-level policy and resource access for both wired and wireless users. NSAs integrate real-time gateway anti-virus, spyware and intrusion prevention to secure networks and VPNs against an extensive array of dynamic threats. Application Firewall provides network administrators the tools for application level access control, data leakage prevention and application level bandwidth control. Extending the campus environment, NSAs may act as a wireless switch controller, allowing auto detection and configuration of SonicPoints™ to provide secure wireless access for employees and unsecured Internet access for guests.
IN-LINE THREAT PREVENTION
The E-Class NSA products can be deployed in Layer 2 bridge mode to provide inline intrusion detection and prevention, add security to network segments or business units and simplify layered security. Using zone-based security and SonicWALL’s industry-leading dynamic signature database, administrators can provide full protection from Trojans, worms, blended and polymorphic threats. Application Firewall empowers administrators with precise control and inspection over network traffic. For additional business unit and network level security, user-level access control can limit unauthorised access to sensitive data within specific business units or database servers.
